the Low waste living trade show

Sponsored by another one of our clients — The Refill Network — the Low Waste Living Trade Show is North America’s premier event to showcase sustainable businesses and products. With a last-minute pivot and scope change, we made sure that this trade show was not only a success but a must-attend event.

After months of planning and marketing for the event, which was originally set to happen in Chicago, a spike in COVID cases and inflation led the Low Waste Living Trade Show to pivot from in-person to fully virtual.

Prior to this, we launched a simple and clean brand with a comprehensive website and a successful email marketing campaign. But we had to quickly juggle making updates to existing promotional materials, virtual event planning, communications with attendees and vendors, and crisis communications/reputation management.

The resulting event was a resounding success, with dozens of vendors, hundreds of products and a wealth of content and information to be shared. Post-event statistics showed a satisfaction rating of over 95 percent, and turnout was above the industry standard. Plans are currently in place for follow-up events.
